Geneva Gonzales

Geneva found her love for horses at the age of 6. During her teenage years, she competed with WSS at the Morgan horse breed shows, taking multiple national titles in the hunter and jumper divisions. Alongside trainer Susan Garmier she has earned the experience of working with an array of horses and their individual needs. Geneva has been training with and assisting Susan at WSS for over 15 years. With the belief that each horse and rider have unique goals and needs in their training, Geneva provides an individualized approach. Be it starting a young horse or building upon current training, she believes patience and consistency lead to forging a happy solid partnership between horse and rider. Being a mother of two herself, she enjoys teaching lessons on Leo the pony . Her lessons are fun and based primarily on fueling love of the sport and good horsemanship. Geneva strives to continue building a community of young riders who encourage and support each other.
