Duet Don Bravada “Duet”

$21,500 USD

A striking and athletic young mare with modern type, Duet Don Bravada is a beautifully bred Westfalen filly, ready to begin her journey toward sport. She combines proven German sport horse bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree, offering a great blend of movement and future potential. Duet is light and feminine, taking soft steps – she has sufficient bone, but is a ballerina all the same!

At 32 months, Duet stands just over 16.1 hands, making her likely to mature around 16.2. She is a sweet, sensitive, and forward horse who has had age-appropriate education; she leads, ties, bathes, and loads into a trailer. Duet has been handled by a novice teenager in an in-hand trail obstacle challenge!

New video (without the fly mask – oops!) coming soon.

Pedigree Highlights:

Sire: Dubarry
Sired by Don Frederico (by Donnerhall), Dubarry stands out as a modern dressage sire known for his expressive shoulder, uphill movement, and exceptional rideability. His progeny are consistently leggy, elegant, and athletic, with three quality gaits and a willingness to perform – ideal for dressage, with some offspring beginning to shine in the hunters. In 2024, USEF ranked Dubarry as the #7 leading sire for Hunter Breeding – with only 2 offspring showing in Hunter Breeding!

Duet’s dam, B’Anina, gave Duet her lightness and femininity. B’Anina’s sire, Bravo, evented through Prelim. Her dam, Phina Marie, is a Pik Solo daughter.
