Have you ever met a horse and felt an instant connection? Delta was not born in a year when I had planned to keep a filly, but as soon as I met her, I knew that she was for me – not as a broodmare, but because I deserve a nice mare to ride. A copy/paste of her sire, Dubarry, Delta shows more promise than this ammy rider needs – but she’s my friend and I deserve her! Delta’s dam, Hanoverian Premium Mare/Competition Mare Necia, showed through I1 before beginning her broodmare career. The distinction of Premium recognizes Necia’s excellent conformation, movement, and value as a broodmare, while her Competition Mare status recognizes her extensive show career.
